Manuscripts should be written in clear English and submitted as a Microsoft Word document.

Institutional affiliations

Original research articles should include a structured abstract with:

Include 3–6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.
Original research articles should generally follow:

References should follow AMA style.
Research involving human participants must include approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee when required.
The manuscript should include the name of the approving institution and approval number when applicable.
Authors must state whether informed consent was obtained when required.
Clinical trials should include trial registration information when applicable.
All listed authors must have made meaningful contributions to the work.
IMGRJ follows the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations for authorship and contributorship.
All authors should approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could potentially influence the submitted work.
Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence tools when these tools materially contributed to manuscript preparation.
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors.
Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, integrity, originality, and content of their manuscript.
Submitted manuscripts must represent original work and must not be simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
Suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, or other forms of research misconduct may result in rejection or further investigation.
Manuscripts considered suitable for IMGRJ undergo independent peer review.
Research manuscripts will generally be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript in response to reviewer and editor comments.
Final publication decisions are made by the editorial team.
